Billy Bonds

Often referred as “The Legendary”, Billy Bonds defines the meaning of a true DJ. Half Navajo Indian and half Irish, Billy claims his nationality mix provides him a neutral look that helps him to blend in well with every crowd.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Billy always loved music. Even as a child while other kids were out playing ball, Billy preferred to hang out at his Father’s social club just to listen to the juke box. Growing up with the Beatles, Stones and Motown Hits, help to set the tone of Billy’s unique mixing style. Blending the best of today’s hits with classic tracks combines a successful mix on the dance floor.

In 2002 Billy formed “007 Productions” and since has promoted some of the hottest parties in town. Clubs such as: 151 (now Vue), NV, GrooveJet, Society 5, Cellar Bar, Float, Go, É'toile, Chateau, Limelight (now Estate), Eugene’s and Flo, prove that Billy Bonds is synonymous with New York’s elite dance spots. But Billy Bonds can also be seen spinning at Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami and many other cities across the country, being that he loves to travel and entertain different people at new venues.

While spinning at Britney Spears’ restaurant/club NYLA, Billy promoted and mixed at the James Bond “Die Another Day” movie release party for MGM Pictures. And among his most recent promotions, Billy hosted and was the DJ for the latest “Vin Diesel” film “A Man Apart” movie release party for “New Line Cinema” at É'toile, and “The League of Extraordinary Gentleman” movie release party for “20th Century Fox” at Lot 61.

A combination of immense DJ experience, flawless mixing talent and the ability to read and play to any dance floor, makes Billy Bonds one of the most sort after DJ’s of our time. Anyone can mix two records together, but what sets Billy apart from the rest is his timing and programming; knowing what to play and when to play it. Billy is not only a Legendary DJ, but he is a true entertainer.
