It's sort of ironic that Americans would have to copy the European one-stop shop model for a night out on the town. After all, aren't we responsible for the malling of Europe? Whichever way the wind blows, the Euro Lounge Cafe lets you eat, drink and be merry, all under one roof. But it's definitely the food that keeps 'em coming back. An ample selection of tapas brings new life to a bar menu, with hot or cold offerings like caramelized baby lamb chops, corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and endive with cabrales cheese. Dinner entrees feature pepper crusted Black Angus steak with caramelized shallots and bordelaise sauce, or the roast pork fillet with pears and honey glazed carrots in a sherry sauce. Pretty tempting, hmm? On the lighter side is a filet of Tilapia with sauteed spinach, and a limiting choice of three good but relatively banal pasta dishes. After dinner entertainment runs from Latin night (Sundays) to the Saturday night disco extravaganza for the desperate nostalgic.
